2011 Kia Optima Vs 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Both Kia Optima and Hyundai Sonata have the same chassis and are manufactured at the same plant in Georgia. They both have similar finance schemes available. Look wise, the Optima has a more unique design with the beaded headlights. The Hyundai Sonata however looks more like an Elantra in spite of being sleek and stylish. The Kia Optima uses a GDI engine. This provides superior fuel efficiency that too for a large car like Kia. The Sonata uses a TURBO.
Las Vegas has 2 service centers for Kia Optima and 3 for the Hyundai Sonata. As for the cost, the Optima have about $200 to $300 price advantage over the Sonata. Sonata has a more futuristic interior design, the Optima has more of traditional settings. In performance and power, probably both the cars would be the same. When a choice is to be made amongst the two, it will completely depend on personal preference.
